After a two-year hiatus, the annual Spirit of Enterprise (SOE) Awards returned on May 25, 2022 to salute small and medium-size businesses for their resilience and growth during the Covid-19 pandemic.

A much anticipated black-tie affair held at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore, the evening saw 44 award winners led by Anastasia Liew, founder of Bengawan Solo, Alan Lee, executive chairman of engineering solutions firm Elmich, and Ronald Soh, managing director of IT support services company Win-Pro Consultancy.

Minister of State for Trade and Industry Low Yen Ling, who attended as guest of honour, also commended the business community for their fortitude, adaptability and willingness to transform.

The SOE Awards honours the achievements of homegrown entrepreneurs and encourages innovation and fair practices. As part of its vision to inspire and scale entrepreneurial excellence, SOE also works with young beneficiaries, giving them opportunities to interact with and learn from established business leaders.
