Although Singapore isn’t yet as pet-friendly a city as New York, we’ve got a sizable number of cafes and restaurants that allow you to bring your furry companions along for the day without making a fuss out of it. 

From upscale restaurants in the iconic Marina Bay area to cafes in far-flung locations hidden amongst greenery with plenty of space for four-legged friends to stretch their legs, these 15 places promise that both you and your pets will have delicious nosh and a great time.

Maison Boulud

Not your average weekend out with your pets, brunch at Michelin-starred French chef Daniel Boulud’s waterfront restaurant at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands is a classy affair. 

Overlooking Marina Bay, the restaurant’s outdoor patio accommodates your furry companions as you get to enjoy the weekend brunch set menu ($78) with elevated classics such as a Lobster Eggs Benedict or Coq Au Vin.

Bread Street Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay

A celebrity chef who requires no introduction, Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen is his heartfelt ode to British European fare the likes of Beef Wellington, Fish & Chips, and Roasted Cod.

The restaurant’s alfresco area welcomes pets and is one of the only places in Singapore where you get to tuck into a hearty Sunday Roast alongside your furry friend. Another Sunday highlight is a special kids’ menu and activities for families as well.

Fico

Led by chef Mirko Febbrile, Fico by The Lo & Behold Group is the East Coast’s own Italian masseria. A popular destination, especially on weekends since it opened, the restaurant is known for its warm hospitality and no-frills Puglian dishes, where Febbrile is from. Pets are equally welcome at the restaurant’s al fresco dining area.

Raffles Courtyard

Housed in the iconic Raffles Arcade, the Raffles Courtyard recently loosened their pet regulations on June 1. Shaded al fresco garden seats and lounges make this an ideal place to hold a day-time soiree with friends and their pets, over Southeast Asian tapas and reimagined Peranakan plates.

Signature dishes include Dry Laksa Goreng, Butterfly Blue Pea Nasi Lemak, and Kueh Pie Tee. Also available daily is a set lunch ($30) that comes with a main and a drink or ice cream.

MyX

From the Eleven Co. Group (creators of Mediterranean restaurant Moxie and the now defunct Siri House), MyX serves up soulful comfort food that reimagines the punchy, playful flavors of the American Coastal South and Latin America with dishes such as the Uni Mac and Cheese and a Yuanyang Tres Leches Cake.

Doubling up as a community space for offbeat events such as a writing workshop or leathercrafting, the restaurant also has a library and an intimate vinyl listening lounge. Sip on $10 cocktails during Happy Hour daily from 3pm to 7pm as you hang out with your furry friends at the alfresco area.

Yardbird Southern Table & Bar

Another Marina Bay waterfront dining venue, Yardbird Southern Table & Bar is a fun all-American restaurant dishing out Southern comfort food such as Lewellyn’s Fine Fried Chicken — a 100-year-old family recipe featuring 27-hour brined chicken — served alongside cheddar waffles and spiced watermelon. The portions are generous and so is the warm hospitality. Pets are welcome at their alfresco area.

Elephant Grounds

Originating in Hong Kong in 2013, Elephant Grounds has evolved from a humble coffee and ice cream sandwich counter into a premier specialty coffee and brunch destination with outposts in Manila as well.

At its first outlet in Singapore, the cafe continues its signature “Coffee & Chill” philosophy, prioritising quality with a locally roasted house blend, sourced directly from the award-winning Ijen Lesatari farm in East Java.

Wildseed Cafe

Wildseed Cafe at all its four locations at The Summer House, The Alkaff Mansion The Garage at Singapore Botanic Gardens, and 1-Flowerhill at Sentosa offers a garden-inspired setting for floral-themed dining and patisserie treats.

With lawns or greenery at most of their outlets, the cafes have ample space for your pets to wander or relax. Operated by 1-Group, weekends buzz with families, pets, and the occasional workshop at afternoon tea or brunch. Pets might be allowed indoors for some outlets, but do double-check.

PS.Cafe

Since its 1999 debut as an intimate cafe within a boutique, PS.Cafe has evolved into an institution with multiple greenhouse-inspired designed locations across the island. Renowned for its sophisticated, lush aesthetic, the cafe features signature high ceilings, vibrant floral arrangements, black-and-white decor, and glass facades that invite nature in.

It is famously known for generous servings of favourites like the PS. Burger, Crab Tart, and the cult-classic Truffle Shoestring Fries, alongside decadent desserts such as the Double Chocolate Blackout Cake. Only two of its outlets are pet-friendly: Harding Road and East Coast Park, with alfresco seating areas and the lawn.

174 Bingo

Baker Jaslyn Chua’s 174 Bingo prioritises community connection, offering a cosy retreat that goes beyond the typical quick-stop coffee shop. Here, both owners and their pets congregate both indoors and outdoors. The cafe’s intimate, minimalist-industrial design — complete with raw concrete walls, vintage touches, and a signature hand-crafted communal table — seats just 20, which fills up fast on weekends.

The menu is a standout, featuring signature bakes such as the intricate Iranian Pistachio Tart with decadent layers of praline, frangipane, and pistachio cream, alongside aromatic cardamom buns and fresh seasonal fruit treats. Coffee lovers can enjoy robust espresso shots crafted with speciality beans from local roaster Maxi Coffee Bar.

Neptune

Helmed by the same team behind Atlas Coffeehouse, Apollo Coffee Bar, and Supernova, Neptune has a dual personality: a bright, energetic coffee spot by day and a cosy wine bar by night. Located just a short stroll from Marine Parade MRT, this spot is celebrated for its precise, Japanese-influenced brunch menu.

Popular picks include the Portobello Ragout, Chorizo Eggs Avo, Seafood Somen, and its must-try Honey Tater Tots. Furry friends are welcome at the breezy outdoor terrace.

Good Boy George

Founded by jazz musician Weixiang Tan and his wife Merlin, Good Boy George is a welcoming community space named after their golden retriever. The cafe blends European and Australian influences, offering a relaxed environment that shifts from a lively brunch spot by day to an affordable watering hole by night — playfully dubbed “Bad Boy George” after sunset.

Menu highlights include speciality coffee, the hearty Big Boy George Breakfast, handmade pastas, and crispy pork sandwiches, complemented by budget-friendly drinks such as $7 Sapporo pints. The venue is extremely pet-friendly, welcoming dogs both indoors and at the shaded outdoor tables, with the team even providing fresh water for your furry companions.

Wheeler’s Estate

Set within a two-storey colonial black-and-white bungalow at The Oval @ Seletar Aerospace Park, Wheeler’s Estate occupies two acres of lush grounds once used as a British military airbase. As the upscale counterpart to the iconic Wheeler’s Yard, this venue offers a complete dining destination featuring a restaurant, a vibrant alfresco bar, and expansive lawns.

Choose between the Level 1 Grill House — known for pizzas, burgers, and meats wood-fired over imported Jarrah, apple, and lychee — or the upstairs verandah restaurant for European fusion fare.

The Coastal Settlement

Nestled in a former Royal Air Force building, The Coastal Settlement offers a tranquil retreat filled with character.

The space features a nostalgic, museum-like interior packed with vintage memorabilia from classic cars to antique furniture paired with a serene, tree-lined garden patio. Its menu is equally eclectic, serving a mix of Western comfort food and creative local favorites like wok-hei Hokkien Mee, Truffle Fries, and signature burgers.

Surrey Hills Grocer

Since its launch in late 2021, Surrey Hills Grocer has brought the rustic appeal of an Australian farm-gate experience to Singapore, anchored by a commitment to farm-to-table dining. The menu highlights quality ingredients, such as locally sourced barramundi prepared with unique regional twists like Assam Pedas at its One Holland Village location. 

Other signature dishes include their Miso Carbonara Udon, Triple Truffle Fries, and famous fluffy pancake stacks. A true haven for pet owners, their hubs at One Holland Village, VivoCity, and Woodleigh Mall welcome dogs indoors (when in strollers or carriers) and offer a dedicated pet grocer section alongside a curated dog menu.
