How Do Japanese and Peranakan Cuisine Complement Each Other?

Two different cuisines come together in Ippin Cafe Bar, who rolled out their Japanese-Peranakan menu on May 31. Helmed by chef Philip Chia, who has made television appearances to present Peranakan cuisine, classics such as the Nyonya laksa and pong tahu (beancurd meatball soup) are given a fresh spin with Japanese ingredients like Hiroshima oysters and sake.
