As Sincere Fine Watches celebrates its 70th anniversary this year, it does so with the flair of a brand that has not only stood the test of time but has consistently evolved to stay ahead of the curve.
Established in 1954, Sincere holds the distinction of being Singapore’s oldest luxury watch retailer, shaping Southeast Asia’s horological landscape with an impressive array of about 40 world-renowned and independent watch brands across 20 boutiques in the region.
The 2021 acquisition of Sincere Fine Watches by Cortina Holdings signalled a new direction for the brand, paving the way for strategic growth and revitalisation. This partnership’s success is exemplified by the revival of Sincere Haute Horlogerie, which debuted in 2005 with a focus on independent watchmakers.
Rebranded as SHH in September 2022, the standalone boutique at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands redefines luxury independent watch retail. Boasting over 20 coveted watch brands, it features lavish interiors and a private lounge for client consultations and VIP events. The same goes for its Bangkok outpost in Siam Paragon.
In Kuala Lumpur, the over-5,000 sqft global flagship SHH boutique in Pavilion mall elevates the concept further with a private dining venue furnished with a kitchen, enabling immersive culinary and horological experiences. The newly opened SHH in Taipei 101 continues this narrative, cementing the brand's reputation as a premier destination for niche luxury.

To commemorate its 70th year, Sincere is unveiling a series of limited-edition Platinum Jubilee timepieces created in partnership with some of the most revered names in horology. Gradually released between May and November, each special edition embodies the rich heritage and forward-thinking spirit that have defined Sincere for seven decades. Here, we spotlight the first seven creations launched.
Moritz Grossman Hamatic Astral Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition
This timepiece is a celebration of Moritz Grossman’s horological craftsmanship and the legacy of Sincere Fine Watches. Limited to 10 pieces, it features the manufacture’s debut use of goldstone on a dial.
Discovered in 17th-century Venice, goldstone is made by heating glass with copper, resulting in glittering crystalline clusters embedded in the material. With its galaxy-like array of luminous dots set against a midnight blue backdrop, it evokes a star-filled sky that’s akin to a portal that looks into the past, present, and future – a representation of Sincere’s 70 years of achievements.

Founded in 1826 by Carl Moritz Grossmann in Glashutte, Germany, the brand has long been associated with precision and tradition. Grossmann was a key figure in Saxon watchmaking, contributing to the region’s renowned horological standing. His legacy was revived in 2008 by Christine Hutter, who revitalised the brand with a commitment to fusing traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques.
This ethos is embodied in the Hamatic Astral, which features the manual-winding calibre 106.0, a modern interpretation of the hammer-style pendulum system used in the first automatic watches. Visible through the sapphire caseback, the movement showcases Moritz Grossmann’s dedication to mechanical beauty and precision, while the watch’s 41mm rose gold case and dark blue alligator strap add a touch of refinement, making it a true collector's piece.
Chopard Happy Sport The First Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition
This striking 30-piece edition for ladies revisits the game-changing Happy Sport watch. First launched in 1993, its combination of steel with free-floating diamonds in the dial was an audacious move that redefined luxury for everyday wear.

Founded in 1860 by Louis-Ulysse Chopard, the Swiss maison quickly gained a reputation for precision and refinement, a legacy that was taken to new heights when the Scheufele family acquired it in 1963. Today, under the stewardship of Karl-Friedrich and Caroline Scheufele, Chopard is known for its commitment to innovation, craftsmanship and ethical luxury, while remaining true to its roots.
To celebrate Sincere’s 70th year, Chopard chose a bold new burgundy red dial – a first for the Happy Sport collection – to symbolise the retailer’s passion for horology. Retaining the iconic seven dancing diamonds and signature pebble-link bracelet, the playful yet elegant 33mm watch is equipped with Chopard’s in-house 09.01-C automatic movement.
H. Moser & Cie. Pioneer Perpetual Calendar Concept MD Purple Enamel Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition
Limited to 20 pieces, the creation stands out with its stunning grand feu enamel dial in an alluring purple fume. Marking a first for the brand’s Pioneer collection, its intricate craftsmanship requires multiple firings in the furnace to create its captivating depth and texture.
Flaunting two large apertures displaying the month and date, the stark dial is made even more impressive by the manufacture’s Flash Calendar function, which allows the date to change instantaneously at midnight. The plus and minus power-reserve indicators sit at 9 o'clock, while the offset small second hand at 6 o'clock enhances the clean, uncluttered design. The leap-year cycle indicator is ingeniously hidden on the movement side for a sleek aesthetic.

Founded in 1828 by clockmaker Heinrich Moser, H. Moser & Cie. has long been synonymous with traditional Swiss watchmaking. Interestingly, in 1868, Moser and American Florentino-Ariosto Jones, founded the International Watch Company, or IWC as it’s known today, and pioneered industrial watch production in Switzerland. Moser's key contribution was building a power station to harness mechanical energy from a river to power the factory’s machines.
Revived in 2012 by the Meylan family, the brand today is renowned for its distinctive minimalist designs and technical innovations, like the HMC 808 hand-wound movement powering this edition. Housed in a commanding 42.8mm red gold case with black DLC-treated titanium inserts, the robust yet elegant timepiece blends H. Moser's precision with modern functionality with an impressive seven-day power reserve and 120m water resistance.
Laurent Ferrier Grand Sport Tourbillon Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition
Showcasing a petrol green guilloche dial, this extraordinary model marks several firsts for the Laurent Ferrier Grand Sport Tourbillon collection, including its first-ever guilloche dial and this unique shade of teal. The vivid hue, inspired by the waves of the South China Sea, symbolises vitality and resilience – qualities that reflect Sincere’s illustrious history.

The brand was founded in 2010 by Laurent Ferrier, a former racing driver and master watchmaker with almost four decades’ of experience at Patek Philippe. His passion for classical watchmaking and desire to merge traditional techniques with modern aesthetics led to the creation of his eponymous brand at age 63.
This 12-piece special edition exemplifies Ferrier's dedication to timeless elegance, with Assegai-shaped hands, ruthenium-treated white gold indices, and a tourbillon for exceptional precision. Housed in a 44mm red gold case, with graceful curves seen on racing cars that the founder once drove, this timepiece is powered by the LF 619.01 movement with a power reserve of over 80 hours.
Lang & Heyne Friedrich III Remontoir Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition
For the most discerning collectors, this remarkable seven-piece special edition showcases Lang & Heyne’s watchmaking prowess in all its glory. Founded in 2001 by Marco Lang and Mirko Heyne, the Dresden-based independent German watchmaker produces only 150 to 200 pieces annually.
Renowned for handcrafted movements and the use of a third centralised lug on its cases, the brand today continues its legacy under Jens Schneider, a key figure from Moritz Grossmann, A. Lange & Sohne, and Glashutte Original.

An esteemed partner of Sincere, Lang & Heyne was one of the distinguished brands to launch inaugural SHH Editions during the 2022 opening of SHH in Singapore. This collaboration continues with the Friedrich III Remontoir, which features a unique ceramic dial with a sand-blasted royal blue silver plate and the exquisitely finished Calibre VI-I movement.
The interplay of colours and textures, highlighted by the frosted givree-finished blue centre against the smooth white ceramic periphery and seconds subdial, adds depth and character to the captivating dial.
Czapek & Cie Antarctique S Mirrored Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition
Designed in collaboration with Sincere Fine Watches, this 38-piece exclusive of the Antarctique S timekeeper is Czapek & Cie’s world premiere of a mirror finish dial and bi-metallic combination in its timepieces.
Founded in 1845 by Francois Czapek and Juliusz Gruzewski, Czapek quickly rose to prominence as one of the finest watchmakers of the 19th century, eventually becoming the official watchmaker to Prince Napoleon. At its peak, the brand had boutiques in Geneva, Warsaw, and Paris.

After lying dormant for over 140 years, Czapek & Cie was revived in 2012 by three entrepreneurs in Switzerland. Backed by a group of passionate watch enthusiasts, the trio reignited the brand’s mission to push the boundaries of traditional watchmaking, while staying true to its founder’s legacy of craftsmanship and innovation.
This timepiece exemplifies the brand’s ingenuity, featuring a polished silicon wafer dial with a PVD platinum coating. Powered by the in-house Calibre SXH5, it includes seven skeletonised bridges, a free-sprung balance, and recycled platinum micro-rotor. The bi-metallic steel and yellow gold bracelet further highlights the model’s unique elegance, making it a shared tribute by Sincere and Czapek & Cie to honouring and reinterpreting heritage.
Franck Muller Vanguard Damascus Steel Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition
Long an embodiment of contemporary high horology, Franck Muller is known for its fiercely independent spirit and expertise with novel materials and designs. In particular, this 28-piece special-edition Vanguard Damascus Steel is a testament to its legacy of exceptional metallurgy.

As its name suggests, the watch features Damascus Steel, a high-quality alloy of two stainless steels originating from the city of Damascus in Syria, which stands out for its incredible strength, durability, and distinctive layered patterns. The use of this material symbolises the enduring bond between Sincere and the manufacture, whose partnership extends back to 1991.
The case, entire skeletonised movement, crown and buckle of the timepiece are cut by in-house CNC machines from single blocks of Damascus steel, which requires a careful polishing process. Beating at its heart is the calibre MVT FM 1740-VS2. whose elaborate inner workings are perfectly complemented by a flange and other details in rose gold. Exquisite finishes accomplished by complex machining techniques done entirely in-house, such as mirror polishing, precise bevelling, and satin-brushing are also showcased throughout.
