To say that 2025 is a big horology year for Bvlgari would be an understatement. The Roman house started it with a bang with a slew of Serpenti technical and jewellery watch creations to herald the Year of the Snake, made a milestone debut at Watches and Wonders Geneva, and marked the 50th anniversary of its equally emblematic Bvlgari Bvlgari collection.

Now, Bvlgari is again flexing its prowess in innovation with Beyond Time, a landmark watch exhibition and the maison’s first-ever showcase of this kind beyond Switzerland. From now until Aug 10 at the atrium of Paragon Shopping Centre, the public is invited to experience its bold fusion of Italian design and Swiss mechanics.

At its grand opening on the evening of Jul 18, a slew of regional celebrities the likes of Thai superstars Faye Peraya and Davika Hoorne, as well as Filipino actress Pia Wurtzbach and our very own Ayden Sng, were also in attendance to experience this sensorial watchmaking universe.

Conceived as an open, multi-sensory space, the exhibition design is inspired by the architectural aesthetic of its acclaimed Geneva presentation with three thematic zones paying homage to Bvlgari’s most iconic pillars: from the elegance of the Serpenti and sculptural precision of the Octo, to the complexity of its Grande Complications, to the splendour of its high jewellery creations.

Get your camera ready for a shimmering B-shaped installation spotlighting the house’s most exceptional jewellery watches. This centrepiece draws inspiration from the modernist philosophies of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Lilly Reich, whose minimalist, precision-led style resonates deeply with the horological language of the award-winning Octo Finissimo design, among others.

When you’re done admiring it, turn around to for a good look at Bvlgari’s love letter to Singapore — the commemorative SG60 Octo Roma Worldtimer Limited Edition. Clad in glorious bright red, this limited edition is created as a tribute to our spirit of resilience, innovation, and plurality.

In addition, there are seven record-breaking timepieces to make a beeline for: the Octo Finissimo Automatic that was the world’s thinnest self-winding watch at its 2017 launch; the Tourbillon Automatic and Minute Repeater of 2018; the Chronograph GMT of 2019; the Tourbillon Chronograph of 2020; the Perpetual Calendar of 2021; and the brand’s latest triumph, the Octo Finissimo Titanium Tourbillon released this year.

Other immersive experiences on-site include private sessions with Bvlgari’s watch experts, and a hand-on watchmaking masterclass led by its Le Sentier-based watchmaker Clement Drobniak. Visitors during National Day weekend will also be treated to bespoke postcard portraits drawn by a local artist, and personalised verses at a live poetry station.
