Held on Feb 22 at London’s Royal Festival Hall, the 2026 EE British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs) honoured the year’s best films and put the spotlight on some serious wrist and jewel game. From the red carpet to the pre-ceremony parties, nominees, presenters, and guests arrived dressed to impress, with their looks elevated by some of the season’s most covetable timepieces and high jewellery.

Think a discontinued Rolex Daytona “Le Mans”, dress-forward chronograph from IWC, an unexpected Omega Aqua Terra, and dazzling statements from Chanel, Bvlgari, Chopard, Boucheron, Chaumet, and Tasaki. Here, we round up the 10 best watch and jewellery moments of the night.

Leonardo DiCaprio: Rolex Daytona “Le Mans” edition

Keeping things elegant and impeccable at the BAFTAs in a black Dior wool-and-silk notch-collar tuxedo, white cotton shirt, and black silk bow tie, Leonardo DiCaprio quietly stole the night with a collector’s grail on his wrist. A Best Leading Actor nominee for One Battle After Another, he wore the Rolex white gold Cosmograph Daytona “Le Mans” edition. Launched in 2023 to mark the centenary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, it was discontinued after a brief run of less than a year, further turbocharging its rarity.

Kim Eun-jae: Tasaki jewellery

Singer-songwriter Kim Eun-jae, better known as Ejae, set aside her edgy style for a high-fashion statement. The lead vocalist behind the fictional K-pop group HUNTR/X in Netflix’s 2025 animated musical film KPop Demon Hunters wore a custom black Dior strapless moire faille dress finished with floral-embroidered tulle. She completed the look with high jewellery pieces from Tasaki, a Japanese luxury house celebrated for its exceptional pearl and diamond craftsmanship.

Rege-Jean Page: IWC Portugieser Chronograph

British actor Rege-Jean Page, best known for his role in the first season of Netflix’s Bridgerton, brought modern polish to the Charles Finch and Chanel pre-BAFTA party in London. He wore a velvet peak-lapel evening jacket in chestnut with black double-pleated trousers and topped off the ensemble with a silk ecru scarf. On his wrist was IWC’s Portugieser Chronograph (ref. IW371624) with a 41mm stainless steel case and a dial in Dune – an understated, fashion-forward choice that contrasted perfectly against the rich warmth of his jacket.

Ethan Hawke: Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150m

Nominated for Best Leading Actor for Blue Moon, Ethan Hawke delivered a playful riff on the formal dress code in Giorgio Armani, swapping the usual bow tie for a bolo. The real talking point, though, was on his wrist: a steel Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra with a pine-green dial – an unexpected pick since it’s a compact 30mm ladies’ timepiece. Elevated details make the dressy yet sporty model feel suitably formal, such as diamond hour markers and refined faceted hands.

Tilda Swinton: Chanel high jewellery

The British actress and Chanel ambassador took the masculine route at the BAFTAs, opting for clean, razor-sharp menswear tailoring. Swinton cut a striking figure in a black wool-twill tuxedo from Chanel’s Metiers d’Art 2026 collection, paired with a white cotton shirt finished with pearl buttons, as well as a Chanel brooch and shoes. The finishing touch was anything but subtle – Chanel’s Haute Joaillerie’s Dreams Come True ring from the Reach For The Stars collection. Set in white gold and black-coated gold with a natural polished 10.2-carat brilliant-cut diamond, it plays on Chanel’s signature black-and-white code.

The 42mm monochromatic piece with a satin-finished and polished black ceramic case is Ross’ fourth collaborative piece with the Hublot.

The British actor, who has a supporting role in the biographical period film Hamnet, attended the BAFTAs to present the movie – a major contender this year with 11 nominations, including Best Film. Alwyn kept things classic in a white, double-breasted Valentino jacket and shirt finished with a black tie and pants. Skipping a watch, he accessorised his chic ensemble with Chaumet jewellery comprising a 1971 yellow gold foliage brooch from the maison’s heritage collection and a Europe-only limited edition yellow gold Bee de Chaumet ring.

Kerry Washington: Chopard Precious Lace earrings

American actress Kerry Washington made her BAFTA debut in custom Prada, turning heads with a navy, sequinned side-baring apron gown that was modern yet regal. She kept the jewellery subtle, matching the dress with earrings set with 9.41 carats of sapphires and 0.44 carats of diamonds from Chopard’s Precious Lace collection. Elegant and quietly commanding, the cool gemstones lent an old-Hollywood polish with a contemporary edge against the shimmer of midnight-blue sequins.

Rose Byrne: Boucheron Plume de Paon earrings and ring

Also making her BAFTA debut, Rose Byrne arrived as a Best Actress nominee for If I Had Legs I’d Kick You in a soft yellow Miu Miu chiffon gown embellished with silver degrade crystals. While the dress was light and airy, the Australian actress made a statement with her jewellery. She wore Boucheron’s Plume de Paon large pendant earrings in white gold, set with rose-cut diamonds and pave round diamonds, and matched them with the matching Plume de Paon small ring for more sparkle.

The Prada ambassador matched the bold silhouette with equally headline-worthy Bvlgari high jewellery. These included a white gold diamond necklace boasting a 3.01-carat oval diamond alongside stones in fancy step-cuts and pave-set diamonds as well as matching diamond earrings each set with a 1.52-carat round brilliant-cut diamond and a mix of fancy-shaped diamonds.
